Suction strainers connect easily and securely to a suction hose or suction pipeline flange, so that it can be submerged into the fluid that you are trying to pump, and stopping any unwanted objects from entering. The suction strainer is a permanent strainer and can be made from a range of materials, usually stainless steel to extend the service life. The suction strainer allows straining to occur in an efficient manner, with a range of hole sizes, and styles available to suit the application. The strainer will protect your pump, valves and other mechanical equipment from becoming damaged by unwanted material being caught by the strainer. Suction strainers can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position. Care and maintenance is required with any straining device to ensure efficient pumping occurs.
Suction Strainers can be supplied in all sizes and materials. The length of the strainer (mesh screen) can be fabricated to suit your requirements if our standard length does not suit and the mesh strainer can be in various materials such as galvanised mild steel, 304 stainless steel and 316ss steel.
